Love, Hope, & Faith

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Grace...

I have found myself transformed in the last few weeks.  I feel that it does not take much for society to push us to our limits and stretch us thin.  We find ourselves not being the people we know we can be.  As a leader, we are in the eyes of many and it is so important that when we are stretched so thin, we remember who we are out our core.  I have found this strength and affirmation from our reading of Transnational Leader and Leading with Soul.  More importantly, I enjoy reading your insights on your blogs.  I hope you are aware that I grow from all of you!  Cohort 4 has the most amazing and spiritually fulfilling people I know.  I want to Thank you for being in my life!

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.  Mark 12:30

  1. I received this from the Father this past week when I really needed it:

    Hebrews 10:35
So do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

I'm commiting this one to memory for sure!!
